Tooth Fractures

Things to know before treatment for teeth fractures

A tooth fracture is a break or crack in the hard shell of the tooth. This cracks can put the nerve of your teeth at risk of being damaged and can make you experience a lot of pain.

After your oral exam, if our staff determines you have a tooth fracture, they will decide the severity and what kind of treatment you will need.

Be sure to let your doctor know if you’re in pain after receiving treatment for a dental fracture. You should be careful with your tooth after your fracture is treated so you don’t re-damage the tooth.
