Implants
Things to know before your child’s visit
Think of dental implants as artificial tooth roots, similar in shape to screws. When dental implants are placed in your jawbone, they bond with your natural bone. They become a sturdy base for supporting one or more artificial teeth.
After your oral exam, our staff will determine if you need a dental implant. You will then be sedated for the procedure. Our dentist will have to drill into your teeth and put in the screw for your crown.
Be sure to let the dentist know if you have any pain or discomfort before receiving treatment. If you have any pain after the procedure that persists, let the dentist know.
